Mexican water mouse

[edit]
  • ALT1:... that the Mexican water mouse is threatened by water pollution caused by such activities as clothes being washed?

  • Recently expanded above minimum, has no policy issues; hook is formatted and cited, though the original is a bit misleading (ALT1 is fine); QPQ looks good too. SounderBruce 06:14, 12 September 2016 (UTC)
  • @Cwmhiraeth: is there another hook perhaps? all creatures who live in water would be threatened by water pollution after all (and the species has "water" in the name). Just wondering?  MPJ-DK  22:43, 18 September 2016 (UTC)
True, but not many are endangered and have such a requirement for pure water as this species. The clothes-washing is mentioned in the source and I had imagined it referred to hand washing of garments in the stream. How about
  • ALT2:... that even such domestic activities as the washing of clothes can threaten the survival of the endangered Mexican water mouse? Cwmhiraeth (talk) 05:07, 19 September 2016 (UTC)
  • - more interesting angle, and covered by source. This can go in a prep now.  MPJ-DK  20:34, 19 September 2016 (UTC)
